Join the Boston Housing Authority, the Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture, and The Community Builders to share your thoughts on the future of 290 North Beacon St. Register About the Project In 2022, a private real estate development displaced musicians from affordable rehearsal and recording studios at 155 North Beacon Street. As part of the development review process and with strong arts, music, and community advocacy, the City of Boston required the developer to secure a nearby property to replace the lost studio space. 290 North Beacon Street, less than half a mile away, was selected as the site.
