Hello.
Thank you all for attending last night's Allston-Brighton Neighborhood Planning Initiative community-wide workshop on physical and community development issues. We have posted a PDF version of the PowerPoint presentation on the BRA website at http://www.cityofboston.gov/bra/allstonbrighton/ or more directly at http://www.cityofboston.gov/bra/Planning/PlanningInitsIndividual.asp?action=ViewInit&InitID=123.
The community workshop notes with your input and recommendations for improvements are forthcoming and will be posted on the website at the same weblinks listed above.
In addition, feel free to sign up on our website for email notifications of meetings in your neighborhood at http://www.cityofboston.gov/bra/.
Thanks,
Carlos

Subject: Rescheduling of ABNPI Transportation Workshop & Confirming Your Availability for Alternate Dates
Importance: HighDear ABNPI Focus Group members,
I hope all is well. It looks like we have encountered a problem with venue availability and conflicting community meetings for our transportation workshop originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 24. We had the auditorium at Jackson Mann reserved but subsequently were displaced to the cafeteria, which I think we can all agree was not an ideal room to hold a large community workshop. I have contacted the Brighton Marine Health Center and there seems to be a community meeting in the auditorium that night. Given that most agreed that the Brighton Marine Health Center would be the best space due to its availability of parking, I'd like to hold all future meetings there. Which of the following dates would work best for you all? I am attempting to schedule the auditorium for one of the following dates:
Monday, April 30 - Brighton Marine Health Center Tuesday, May 1 - venue other than Brighton Marine Health Center? Wednesday, May 2 - Brighton Marine Health Center Thursday, May 3 - Brighton Marine Health CenterPlease advise as soon as possible your availability to attend the transportation workshop for the following proposed dates. If you would tentatively set aside the time on these dates until we have confirmation from the venue as well as Boston Transportation Department staff.
Gratefully,
Carlos
