Dear Eva,

If you haven't voted yet, I really hope you VOTE tomorrow. If you want a say on who represents you at City Hall, then you have to get out and VOTE!

Just in case you need more reasons to VOTE for me tomorrow, here are 10!

Thank you,

A Strong Advocate for Education:

As a former Boston Public School student, parent, and teacher, I know firsthand that investing in our children's education is an investment in our city's future. I have consistently championed policies to enhance our schools, ensuring that every child in Boston has access to a high-quality education at a safe and thriving school close to home.

Respecting our Seniors:

Since taking office, I've used my position to push for policies that allow seniors to remain in their homes in the neighborhoods they choose, for increased options that help them connect with their communities, and for the continued dignity of all people. I'll always be an ally to seniors, and I'll always stand up for the neighborhoods that they've built.

Putting our Veterans First:

As Chair of the Committee on Veterans, Military Families and Military Affairs, I consider the city's commitment to our veterans one of my highest priorities. Veterans have always always been at the center of my public service. We owe those who have defended us not only the benefits they've earned, but our utmost effort in connecting them to those resources. I will always work to put veterans first on the municipal government agenda.

Public Safety and Community Policing:

As an At-Large City Councilor, one of our most effective means of advocacy is the city budget, and I’ve long pushed for fully funding of our city’s first responder and emergency response apparatus. I am committed to making Boston safer for all residents. I support community policing efforts that build trust between our law enforcement and the communities they serve.

Affordable Housing and Equitable Development:

As a renter, I know the stress that rising housing costs put on households. Boston's affordability challenges are real, and I've been at the forefront of advocating for affordable housing solutions and responsible development practices that will not displace our communities.

Environmental Stewardship:

I recognize the urgency of addressing climate change. I have been a strong advocate for sustainable policies, from promoting a comprehensive plan for our waterfront to expanding green spaces and increasing energy efficiency.

Proven Leadership:

My experience on the City Council and my deep ties to our communities enable me to navigate the complexities of city government effectively. I will continue to collaborate with fellow councilors, community leaders, and city officials to get things done for Boston. You can count on me to continue to show up every day and work hard for you!

A Record of Results:

During my time as. your City Councilor, I have been dedicated to delivering tangible results for our neighborhoods. From advocating for better schools, safer streets, the cost of housing, and delivering on constituent services. I have demonstrated my commitment to improving the quality of life for all Bostonians.

Accessibility and Transparency:

Your voice matters. I have always made it a priority to be accessible to residents, attending community meetings in every neighborhood and listening to your concerns. You know where I stand on the issues and will continue to champion transparency and speak my mind to stand up for you.

A Bostonian through and through:

I love our city, and I am deeply committed to its future. As a lifelong Boston resident, former Boston Public School teacher and a single mom who raised my four children here, I understand our unique challenges and opportunities, and I am dedicated to making Boston a better place for all of us.

It was an honor to join Mayor Wu, Council President Flynn, and Commissioner Santiago at the annual Veterans Day Parade. Supporting our veterans on Veterans Day, and everyday is so important. Thank you for your service. 🇺🇸
