Hi everyone-

I just wanted to share a link to a great new webpage created by Matt Bowling, a young resident of Boston who has a deep interest in history and Boston’s neighborhoods. He has created a website devoted to exploring the different neighborhoods in Boston, best described in his own words below from the site’s home page:

Hey, Charlie, the Oak Square webpage that you created with Matt Bowling is delightful — really a wonderful and rich portrait of the place, congratulations! — so I don’t wish to “rain on your parade”, but I have to drop just a droplet ;-)

Why does a webpage paying homage to Oak Square include a photo of an old Beacon Street (Brookline/Brighton) trolley? That trolley would have no reason to be in Oak Square, because Beacon Street trolleys were going back and forth between downtown and Cleveland Circle (as is the case today), and their “home” were the Cleveland Circle trolley barns. It looks like that photo was taken there too.

Don’t you have a photo of an old trolley in Oak Square? Please find one. The one you used belongs on a webpage about Cleveland Circle. I would appreciate a correction.
