This year, Mayor Wu and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department hosted the 29th Annual Rose Garden Party at the James P. Kelleher Rose Garden in the Back Bay Fens. This annual fundraiser donates all proceeds to the Boston Parks and Recreation ParkARTS programming, which
activates the city's green spaces by bringing free, accessible arts programming, workshops, concerts, and puppet shows to neighborhoods across Boston.
Filled with laughter, dancing, and amazing speeches from the Parks Department Commissioner: Diana Fernandez Bibeau, Mayor Wu, and the incredible woman behind the event: Tiffany Clark, this Rose Garden Party was one for the ages.
We were joined by nearly 500 attendees who brought not only amazing floral outfits and hats, but smiles and an enthusiasm for making the ParkARTS possible for the coming year. We could not be more grateful for those who were able to attend, for those who donated,
and for the chance to continue creating free, creative outlets for Boston's residents for another year!

Boston 250 is an initiative of the City of Boston and a variety of partners and sponsors who have joined together to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution in Boston. The commemoration, made up of events, legacy projects, and brand initiatives,
showcases Boston’s true, inclusive, revolutionary spirit, with an eye towards the future.
Boston 250 is about more than history - it is be a celebration of Boston’s revolutionary, path-breaking past and present. Yes, the revolution got its start here, but so did Martin Luther King, Jr,. and Malcolm X, life saving treatments and vaccines, the first
public school, public park, and public library. That is the story of Boston we want to tell.
