On July 9, 2026 from 6 to 7 PM, join us for a free, virtual workshop. We'll review the fundamentals of solar power generation, how net metering connects your panels to the local grid, and how solar energy can contribute to lowering your monthly energy costs.
Need roof work first? The solar loan can be paired with Boston Home Center home repair programs to finance roof repair or replacements. 🏠

Want to go solar and electrify or renovate your home? The solar loan can also be combined with Boston Home Center home improvement financing! 💲

A standard rooftop solar system funded through this program is capable of generating a significant amount of clean electricity to meet your home’s energy needs annually. Through net metering, you can receive credits on your electric bills for the excess energy your solar panels send back to the grid during the day. This will help lower monthly utility costs over time.

Invest in your home — and in clean, renewable energy — with the Solar Loan Pilot Program. Applications are now open, but will be limited to the first 20 income-eligible applicants who meet structural requirements. Learn more and apply today!
