Subject: Boston Flooding Survey and Energy Saver
The Office of Senator Brownsberger would like to highlight two new programs from the City of Boston. The Allston Brighton Health Collaborative is partnering with the City on both of these initiatives.

Boston Energy Saver (BES)
BES is a free City service that helps renters, homeowners, and small businesses lower their energy bills through personalized guidance on discounts and building upgrades. Residents can call 617-635-SAVE or visit Boston Energy Saver online to schedule a one-on-one consultation in multiple languages. Learn about rebates, weatherization, heat pumps, and more.

Flood Mapping & Green Infrastructure
The City of Boston is building a map of flooding hotspots across Boston’s neighborhoods. Using citizen-science data, the City’s Office of Green Infrastructure will install strategically placed green spaces to absorb stormwater and mitigate pollution into the Charles and other water bodies. You can fill out flood mapping survey where you see flooding or puddles or the Green Infrastructure survey.
