The 2025 neighborhood profiles developed by the Research Division provide a brief overview of each Boston neighborhood's demographics, economy, housing, mobility, and past and future trends using a variety of data sources and metrics including the Division's population estimates and projections, Mastercard spending data, U.S. Census Bureau LODES employment data, Citydata mobility data, MBTA ridership data, and Mayor's Office of Housing development data.
