The Allston Brighton Substance Abuse
Task Force and MOAR invite you to attend a Town Hall Meeting on Underage
Drinking on April 5th at SEMC from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. ( light dinner at 5:
30 pm).
In
recognition of April being Alcohol Awareness Month, the Task Force is
joining other coalitions across the state and country to :
- highlight issues related to underage drinking
- develop community outcomes to prevent underage drinking
We're happy to have Dr. Marisa Silveri of Harvard Medical School join us. Having extensively studied the adolescent brain, Silveri will show healthy adolescent brain development and the neurobiological effects of early drug and alcohol use.
The Town
Hall meeting is funded and supported by SAMHSA, Substance Abuse and Mental
Health Service Administration.
