Get involved!
Over the next few months we’ll develop conceptual drawings that will help bring to life the comments, ideas, preferences, and other feedback from community members. Your input will continue to shape the development of the plan! Stay tuned for details about
our next Open House in the beginning of 2026. When we present next year, we’d love to know where did we get these concepts right? What still needs work? Can you see yourself in this vision of Allston-Brighton’s future? What, if any, changes are still needed?
Additionally, you will notice two new faces working on the ABCP, including Jack Halverson, a Zoning Planner (who spent significant time leading the Allston-Brighton Mobility Plan) and Andrew Nahmias, a Senior Urban Designer. This added staff will be helpful
as we coordinate and finalize a number of planning initiatives in Allston-Brighton including the ABCP, Beacon Park Yard, the Harvard ERC, the Boston College Institutional Master Plan, and others. You can reach Andrew at
Andrew....@boston.gov and
Jack at Jack.Ha...@boston.gov with
any questions as we move forward with the ABCP.
As a reminder, the Harvard-Allston
Partnership fund has reopened. Applications are due December 4, 2025. Please share with organizers and organizations who are doing the great work of bringing our community together and supporting our neighbors.
We are also asking for your help to please consider filling out and sharing with your networks our ‘Spaces
for You’ survey,
an
initiative focused on knitting together publicly-accessible open spaces to create vibrant social places for all.
