Hello everyone,
The MEPA (Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act) review process provides meaningful opportunities for public review of potential
environmental impacts of certain projects for which certain actions by state agencies are required. It requires state agencies to study the environmental impacts of projects requiring state permitting, financial assistance or land disposition, and to use all
feasible measures to avoid, minimize, and mitigate damage to the environment or, to the extent damage to the environment cannot be avoided, to minimize and mitigate damage to the environment to the maximum extent practicable.
On August 11, 2021, the proponents of the Enterprise Research Campus Project filed a DEIR (Draft Environmental Impact Report) which initiates a public comment period. (Comments Due: October 8, 2021)
I have included the link for the submittal: Harvard Allston Task Force - Comments on Enterprise Research Campus Project, Draft Environmental Impact Report, EEA # 16320 dated September 28, 2021.
The signatories to the submission solely represent the majority view of The Harvard Allston Task Force.
The signatories want to thank Barbara Parmenter for her extraordinary effort at organizing and authoring such a comprehensive document that guides us in our advocacy on behalf of the community.
