Call for Volunteers - Bowiefest
After a COVID-related hiatus, the city of Bowie’s annual festival, Bowiefest, is returning for 2022! ASLC has applied for an informational booth at the event, which will include access to a power source so we may highlight our new digital ministries.
Please mark your calendars for Saturday, June 4, 2022. The E-Team is seeking as many volunteers as we can get to help us staff our booth from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 4. We want to especially note the need for volunteers who are comfortable lifting tables and pitching a cloth canopy to help with set-up and tear-down of our booth. We would also appreciate someone with a larger vehicle stepping up to help transport our materials to Allen Pond Park (and back). Please indicate in the comments of the set-up and tear-down sign-up slot if you have such a vehicle.
