The Beginning of the Apostles' Fast

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Today marks the beginning of the Apostles’ Fast, the fasting season that prepares us for the Feast of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul on June 29.

This fast is an opportunity for us to imitate the holy Apostles, who devoted themselves to prayer, fasting, and the proclamation of the Gospel after receiving the grace of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.

The fasting calendar is always available through our website, and I’ve attached it to this email, as well

May the Lord strengthen us through the prayers of the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, and may this fasting season bear good fruit.
