Hello All Saints!
Saint John the Merciful, our outreach ministry at All Saints, has a few new service opportunities for you for the month of June. This is a great way to get involved and serve our local community!
- Community Clean up - On Saturday, 06/13 from 7:00am - 12:00pm
Details: Wake County Big Sweep is conducting a Crabtree Creek cleanup at 2426 Wake Forest Road Raleigh, NC 27608. Breakfast, lunch, and watercrafts are provided (you may bring your own, but motorized crafts are not allowed). Volunteers will park and meet for breakfast at the launch site, then paddle down the creek, collecting litter along the way. Afterward, volunteers will help unload trash, enjoy lunch, and be shuttled back to the start. See the link here for more details on the event and how to register. Note: this opportunity is only available to folks 18 years or older.
- Homeless Blessing Bags (Pick up in the SJTM Corner in the Narthex of the Parish Hall)
Details: Last month, our parish generously donated items for our Summer Homeless Blessing Bags—thank you! Now it’s time for the next step. Please take a blessing bag from the St. John the Merciful ministry and keep it with you to share with someone in need. Whether you encounter a person asking for help at an intersection, in a parking lot, or anywhere in our community, these bags are a simple way to offer practical support and Christ’s love to those who are struggling.
