Custom connectors for custom nodes in AUI DiagramBuilder

Hi,

AlloyUI newbie here. I am able to make custom nodes, and add custom properties to the basic connector. However, the new requirement is to be able to connect two similar custom nodes using a custom connector. So, I need to be able to have multiple custom connectors (one for each specific custom node).To be more clear, let's say I want to establish a 'belongs-to', 'has' and 'depends-on' type relationships among nodes. 

How to approach this problem? 

Any help is appreciated.
