What is the future of alloyui?

Now that Yahoo has told that they will stop YUI development yahooeng.tumblr.com/post/96098168666/important-announcement-regarding-yui. What is the future of alloyui? It is planned any port to another javascript library or will liferay colaborate with others members of the YUI comunity to support its development?
