Hi Alloy, we'll be in Luke 9:27-36 for our teaching Thursday night.
Jesus has clearly predicted for the first time that he must suffer many things be rejected and must be killed.

Our passage follows his revelation in what's commonly known as the Transfiguration of Jesus. His disciples are there. Moses and Elijah will be there as well. 
You've heard of the greatest question!!
"Who do you say that I am"...

Well Jesus takes it one step farther by
presenting the greatest offer ever made!!!
"Let me show you who IAM"!!

This is such a monumental event taking place even God the father shows up just to make sure the disciples and all future Christians don't miss the main point.

Read through the passage,  consider what's going on. Prepare to be blinded by the light of God's glorified Son!

Brian and everyone there tonight, may the Spirit be strong, conversation informative, edifying and fun!   Judy and I will miss you tonight and Sunday.  She’s off to Detroit for a friends wedding, I’m now in Vegas for a family wedding.  See many of you next Friday at our HG retreat.  JL
