Due to the fact that we are spread out across the globe it is difficult to find a perfect time for this Meetup. I have done my best to pick a time that takes all time zones into consideration.
I would love feedback from everyone regarding your availability. Please let us know when it is most convenient for you to attend this Meetup, or any future Meetups.
If we do not receive feedback regarding availability then the above stated date and time will remain in place.

Who Should Attend:
Anyone that has an interest in how AllianceCMS works is welcome to join us. No technical knowledge is needed, but it can be helpful during parts of the discussion.
Description:
This is the first session of a multi-part series of Online Meetups where I will attempt to give a brief overview of the AllianceCMS System. The purpose of this multi-part series of Meetups is to help new and/or potential contributors become familiar with the structure of AllianceCMS as quickly as possible.
This will not be an in-depth discussion regarding internals, although I will point out details that I feel contributors will need to be aware of in order to make informed decisions.
In this talk I will introduce you to:
The current file/folder structure
The current feature set
The reasoning behind certain design decisions
Area's of the system that I feel we can design better
My thoughts regarding alternative paths we can take from this point onward
We might not be able to cover all of these points in one session. If we have to we will find a good place to stop and then pick up where we left off in the next part of this series of Online Meetups.
'AllianceCMS Tour' Goals:
The purpose of this series of Online Meetups is to allow me the opportunity to give those new to AllianceCMS a quick overview of the current system before discussing the 'dev/kernel/devmod' branch, which is a test bed for changes that I believe might enhance the system greatly while addressing some of the walls I feel we might hit in the near future.
I believe that the best way to get contributors up to speed as quickly as possible is to:
Demonstrate and explain my development efforts up to this point
Explain the reasoning behind the changes I feel we should make
Have an open discussion regarding past, present and future goals
Over the course of this series I will discuss:
The current AllianceCMS structure and feature set
The reasoning behind design decisions of the current system
Areas of the current system that need improvement and/or a better design
The changes made in the new 'dev/kernel/devmod' branch
The reasoning behind the changes made in the new 'dev/kernel/devmod' branch
