Dear colleagues,

This is to inform you that the 3rd International Conference on Growth in Transition, “How constraints make us grow – Society in transition”, will take place in Vienna on 22-24 February 2016. The conference is organized by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Environment together with more than 20 partner organizations. The conference will elaborate what form of prosperity we envisage, how to conduct alternative economic activities and how to shape possible social and economic models with the aim of leading over to a sustainable economy. Our understanding of the natural constraints of our planet is continually growing and deepening. What prevents us from making changes to our lifestyles and economic activities and especially from placing them on a sustainable footing? Why is no change of direction taking place? The Conference focuses upon three key subject areas: constraints, transformation, and development. For more information, please see the attached flyer.
