Dear Practitioner Network members,

 

The United Nations Foundation is requesting expressions of interest from an organization(s) or a consortium of organizations to design and implement a multi-year project to deliver decentralized, sustainable power solutions to a range of un-electrified and under-electrified health facilities in one or more sub-Saharan African countries under a UK Department for International Development funded initiative.

 

The project’s over-arching objective is to improve health outcomes for people (paying particular attention to women and children) living in rural and remote parts of sub-Saharan Africa through improving the availability and quality of electricity-dependent health services in primary health facilities.

 

An Expression of Interest, clearly marked “Expression of Interest - Consultancy to Deploy Decentralized, Sustainable Power Systems in Health Facilities in Africa”, can be submitted via email to in...@energyaccess.org. EOIs will be evaluated on an ongoing basis starting immediately, but should be submitted no later than 5pm EST October 9, 2015.
