Morning folks,
Below is a quick blurb on a media inquiry from Kevitha Chekuru at Al Jezeera. She is doing a story on water-quality in Appalachia, especially West Virginia, but also potentially within a regional context.
(Erin, I gave her your contact information).
She will be in West Virginia March 19th-28th in West Virginia, and is especially interested in Elk River Spill and slurry and bigger regional context.
She would love to hear from you. Contact information is below!

Hi Katey,
My name is Kavitha Chekuru, I'm a producer for the documentary series Fault Lines that airs on Al Jazeera America and Al Jazeera English. We're currently working on a documentary looking at water quality in West Virginia and I wanted to see if you might have
some time to chat on the phone today or tomorrow about the Alliance's work, this would be just for background research.
I also saw Laura Merner quotes in this Think Progress article: http://thinkprogress.org/climate/2014/01/22/3176161/west-virginia-poverty-pollution/ and was wondering if you guys are doing any groundwater testing right now in either Charleston related to the
Elk River spill or elsewhere in southern West Virginia on other contamination issues?
Let me know at your convenience, I look forward to hearing from you!
Best regards,
Kavitha
