A new subspecies for Momordica cochinchinensis

Hi Friends
Thanks to Zahoor for waking up the sleeping Allele miners. Wish all are doing great.
I am hereby sending a paper in which we are reporting the identification and identity establishment of a new subspecies andamanica under the species Momordica cochinchinensis. The plant material was collected and botanical aspects were evaluated by NBPGR Thrissur and the subspecies status confirmation through barcoding of chloroplast gene matK was done by me at Centre for Plant Biotechnology and Molecular Biology at KAU.

The paper, scheduled for a forthcoming issue of Springer journal 'Genetic Resources and Crop Evolution'.
