Are we just going through the motions in life? Do we just do things
each day without really taking the time to enjoy the relationships we
should be developing? How about our relationship with God?

Do you realize that time is our most valuable asset?

Are you spending your most valuable asset on things that do not
matter? What are some things in your life that are a waste of time?
If you give up some of those things, what can you replace it with that
will add significance and meaning to your life?

Surfing the net!!! LOL

I must say that some of these websites can be addicting and that's no
lie! It use to be the television taking up a lot of my time, now the
internet has taken over. It will be a challenge because I love to
surf the net for it's very informational. With God's help, I will
commit myself for only an hour at a time...like I have for my
daughters. I had to set limits for them because they would be on it
for hours! Now I see first hand what this internet can do!

By limiting myself, I will be able to spend more time with God and
spend more quality time with my family. About 5 or so months ago, we
had "family night" every Wednesday were we ordered in & sat around the
table eating, playing games and talked about how all of our day had
gone and what we learned today and what could we do differently to
have a better outcome if our day didn't go well. But it was fun and
we loved it. Just thinking back on a few of those days brings a smile
to my face.

Like it's supposed to be:
God first
Family second
And everything else afterwards!!

Be Blessed!

I can honestly say that at 1 point I was just going through the
motions in life. I just lived each day. I did care about my life but
I just left it up to God to direct my paths. My relationship with God
was not were it was supposed to be. I had put Him on the back burner
thinking that as long as I do right, my relationship with God is ok.
NOT! I knew that I had to become more intimate with God, talk to Him
more, read His Word more. I do realize that time is valuable but at
the end of my day - time was no where to be found. I was spending my
time on TV. I am a reality TV watcher. Sad huh? This week I am on a
TV diet as I learned from Destiny & Eriel last week. I have really
enjoyed life without TV. Rod and I talk more, we played UNO last
night - He won! and I have given my time to God. I read the bible,
listen to worship music and just meditate on God. It has truly added
significance to my life. 2GBTG!

With my time it was always spent on my blood relatives especially back
in San Diego. Even to the point when I would take what ever time I
had left from hanging and chatting with my family. Then to gave to my
family and then to God my undivided attention...as Pastor Rick Warren
stated in last nights video. Honestly it ended up not being my
undivided attention, it was my left over time. God deserves ALL of my
time so I have learned. This year alone I have fasted from going to
San Diego over the weekends and have remained off the phone lines.
This was especially hard for myself because I am the oldest daughter
to a family of six children and to parents who were very reliant on
me. Therefore I was involved in all their lives and gave of myself
constantly more then I did to my immediate family. Though it felt
significant it was prioritized unfairly and soon after it become
unenjoyable. Sad to admit yes I was taken for granted and used...just
as my Lord felt all the while. I am proud to say that motion is over
with and now I am on a level of knowing God is first and above all
ELSE. Thanks to the journey of our 40 days and those who took the
time to share themselves and their testimonies.

God Bless.
