Scripture is very clear about the significance of a 40 day journey.

God used 40 days to change some ordinary people into extraordinary
vessels that changed this world.

What will He do with you in the next 40 days?

He used Noah to repopulate the entire planet. He used Moses to lead
millions to freedom. He used Jonah to help lead an entire city to
repentance. And all this was done after each endured a 40 day
transformational period. God wants to do the same with you!

What are you hoping to accomplish by taking this 40 day journey?
Hopefully, your desire is to achieve more than what you believe you
can do on your own.

This is my second time reading this book, however the first time I did
not complete the 40 day journey. Why? I allowed other things such as
not being disciplined and committed keep me off the path of finding my
purpose. I was easily discouraged and accepted the lie of my not
having a purpose for a very long time.

Since we've approached the reading of PDL I am excited and renewed
like never before. I cannot wait to see what God has planned as my
purpose to serve and reach others.

God Bless,
Seliga

I am trusting that with these next 40 days of my life as I am seeking
Gods Call and Purpose in my life I am believing that He will take me
too higher grounds a new level where I will have a transformation
experiencwe and beyond a doubt receive clarity along with revelation
as to why I'm here and what He created me too do.

I'm standing in faith that He will not only strengthen me to stand up
and surrender my all to Him with no questions ask, but to equip me
with the patience to get it done in His time not mine!!

After this 40 days I hope to be closer to God and get back on track
for living the purpose He has for me!!

I've often wondered why God took 40 days to make radical changes in
people's lives. Couldn't He have done it faster?

What I realize is that God is searching for people who are willing to
make a commitment to Him and 40 days is long enough to find out if
people are truly committed.

Let me ask you this question...if you were going to give someone the
opportunity of a lifetime or a really valuable award, would you give
it to the first person who came along saying they are worth it? Or
would you give it to someone who stuck around and proved to you they
would do whatever it took to have it?

I'm not God, but I personally would entrust my valuables to someone
who proved trustworthy. So let's show God we are diligent and willing
to do whatever it takes to discover His purposes for our lives. I
guarantee, He will not let you down!

B-Blessed!

Pastor AJ,
These 40 days have ment so much to me. They have reinforced the
true ideas that being a true Christian is more than just saying you
believe in Christ. It is to not just belief, but also to live in
Christ. To carry him in you heart in the good and bad times. Are you
willing to be the vessel that God uses in your every day
surroundings? You do not have to give the sermon on the mount, but
you can always touch the people around you in your life. Just reach
out and touch the people you can, that might be the only chance they
have to know the love of Jesus. Always remember a servants heart is
what our lord is always looking for.
