Happy New Year (belatedly)

Hello Crystal :
Hope you had a happy holiday . I'm not
feeling well but I just had to post you something here .
I've been out chasing girls and they still run too fast
for me . In fact , as I get older . They seem to
be faster than I am in everything .
I still love them though , so I'll keep trying . I
tell them all that I've been faithful to all of them
and I have . I've never cheated on any of them .
I'm always honest with them , and sometimes that's
a handicap ; because they think I'm going to lie like
all their other guys . Boy , some of these girls
are so traumatized by bad relationships they won't
even give me the time of day . But as I said I
still love women .
I can't explain why , maybe I feel sorry for
all the things they have to put up with every day .
I prefer to think it's because I just appreciate
everything the do for men . They go places they
don't want to go . They put up with people they
don't like just to please him . They bring beer
and sandwiches to him in the living room so
he won't miss anything on TV . And being
the women they are , they expect him to notice
when she fixes her hair or puts on a new piece
of clothing . And when he doesn't , she quietly
goes to the bathroom and cries believing he's
stopped loving her and doesn't care anything
about her life or who she is . She feels as if
she is not a real person anymore .
Whatever the reason Crystal , I'm just a
hopeless romantic who loves being nice to
women who want me to be their "friend" .
I think I have however , over the holidays , had
a revelation . I used to think women wanted me
as their male friend ; but it just came to me
suddenly , they want me as their girlfriend .
That's right Crystal , I'm a better girlfriend
than you are . I'm safe , reliable , truthful , won't
stab her in the back , won't betray her . I'm
always there for advice on heterosexual men ,
she can cry on my shoulder whenever she needs
a shoulder to cry on because I'm single and
always on call . There you have it , I've become
the greatest girlfriend in the history of the world .
