Subject: Stakeholders consultation before IPBES-2

Apologies for cross-posting. This message aims at informing those of you who plan to attend the IPBES-2 meeting to be held on 9-14 December in Antalya, Turkey.

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to draw your attention on the recent release of the draft agenda of the stakeholder consultation that will be held before IPBES-2. This event is convened by IPBES Secretariat and will span on 1.5 days, starting on Saturday 7 December in the morning. It is a great opportunity to familiarize with IPBES and also to discuss standpoints before the official meeting opens. You may find the agenda here: http://ipbes.net/stakeholders/stakeholder-processes/412-stakeholder-meeting-to-be-held-on-7-8-december-ahead-of-ipbes-2.html

I take the opportunity of this message to also flag the release of the report of a technical workshop addressing the role of Indigenous and Local Knowledge relative to IPBES. You may download it here: http://ipbes.net/related-events/353-expert-workshop-on-indigenous-and-local-knowledge-systems-to-ipbes-2.html This is an issue that is obviously linked with stakeholder engagement and I thought it deserves your attention.

I look forward to meeting many of you in Antalya!

Best regards,
