Heyas!

THURSDAYS NOTBYWORKS

On Thursday, we will conclude the last study of Galatians by examining the Gal 6:6 and on. What do you think Paul was trying to tell the Galatians when he brought up the imagery of sowing and reaping? It is a commonly used expression throughout the bible.

If we have any questions regarding the epistle, it would be a great time to bring it up for discussion. Dave will be facilitating the study on Thursday night as I have to attend a meeting in church.

Please let us know if you are joining us for dinner. We are adjusting the amount of food prepared so that there won't be too much left over. So it will REALLY help if you can let us know early (not 5pm on Thursday lah).

FRIDAY AFTERWORKS

We are going to screen a movie at the Moo's on Friday night! Come right after work and grab a hot dog and Kachang Puteh. Because most movies are about 2 hours long, we hope to start the screening at 8:30pm (latest). Please come early to fellowship over dinner!

Use the FB event invite to nominate your movie of choice. If it is not available on iTunes Store (US), we can always resort to Video EZ or similar physical rentals. Watching the movie is merely a means to an end. A distant second to the primary objective of being together with God's people. That means that the actual choice of the movie should matter little to the mature Christian. That said, we should probably steer away from movies that may cause offense to the viewers.

We hope to use this as an opportunity to welcome the JFN people (old and new alike). Karl and Dave, please whip out your iphones and/or facebook message them the details.

Beer and alcoholic beverages are allowed in moderation. Anybody getting wasted will be forgiven their trespasses, but we reserve the right to post videos/photos of you on Facebook. LOL.

See you all on Friday!

Errol
