Interfaith global petition on warming and 10/24 day of action

Does anyone know if we're involved in this yet? If not, is this a
good forum to discuss whether we should organize our little piece off
the mosaic for this event? The petition form includes an option for
organizations to make a community event happen.

I invite you to sign and to share the Interfaith Call for 350, a
global petition from people of widely diverse beliefs who are coming
together to ask world leaders to prevent immeasurable harm to people
and ecosystems caused by human action.

October 24, 2009, the global day of action, calls to reduce the
atmospheric level of CO2 (carbon dioxide) to below 350 parts per
million. All people of all faiths and traditions are asked to join in
prayer and action for 350.
