Hello everyone,
Thank you so much to all of the teams who came to the 2025 Swamp Classic. We had a great race and managed to beat our attendance numbers from last year! This race showcased the strength and numbers of the club teams in this conference and it was great to talk with and race with each of you.
I don't think I can heap enough praise on Max Abner at Clemson for bringing such a strong squad down plus driving the P123 Road Race breakaway and Nathan and Pedro at Georgia Tech for their 13 riders plus all they contribute to the conference. We'll be at Clemson's race with a large team this year and as soon as that downtown Atlanta crit makes the calendar we'll be there too.
Also a big thank you to Kennesaw State, Alabama at Huntsville, South Carolina, and Furman for coming down to the Swamp! I apologize if I missed any individual club riders or teams but if you were there, thank you. We also had SCAD Savannah in attendance and Montevallo as varsity representatives keeping the A races exciting. Thank you both for coming.
I also want to thank Topview Sports, the SECCC leadership, and USA Cycling for making this race happen. It is extremely important to all of the clubs here in Florida. We were able to get a tremendous amount of new riders registered for races and I think excepting three or four of our riders that was everyone's first time trial or criterium. It is a massive developmental opportunity for us and plays a role in helping UF, USF, and UCF build teams that can travel throughout the Southeast.
We look forward to seeing every team back at Swamp Classic for 2026!
Sincerely,
Noah Adelson
