Duncalf-Villavaso Professor of Church History at the Seminary of the
Southwest will explain how anti-Judaism is religious hatred and comes out
of Christianity. Antisemitism is racial/ethnic hatred and arises from
Christianity and modernity.
*ADVENT LESSONS & CAROLS *
5:00 p.m. in the Church. Come hear our Parish Choir and the Handbell Choir,
in a service of scripture, with carols old and new, for both choir and
congregation. Advent begins a new liturgical year in the church, and this
service helps to get us in the mood for this period of preparation for
Christmas. We look forward to having you with us. Refreshments & Tree

*PRODUCTION COMPANY CHRISTMAS STOCKING PROJECT:*
Our Sunday School classes are making and stuffing Christmas stockings to be
distributed to Adult *Loaves & Fishes* guests. All Saints’ members can
help by donating small toiletry items, combs, gloves, scarves, peppermint
candy, anything useful that will fit into a 6” X 18” stocking. Please do
not wrap the items. Donations can be put in the box in the office
labeled *“Stocking Stuffers.” * *We will need to have everything for filling the stockings by
Saturday, Dec. 8th*.

December 9th at the 10:30 service St. Nicholas will again visit and tell us why he is a saint. In honor of St. Nicholas, parishioners are invited to make a donation to the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem, which maintains hope—and schools–for Arab Christian children living in a divided country. Please be generous and write your checks to All Saints’ Episcopal Church with “St. Nicholas” in the memo. Or, you can go to
www.afedj.org and donate online. Another way to help those in need is to bring an unwrapped toy to donate to El Buen Samaritano so families can have gifts for their children.
