We’re excited to re-enact the basic form of the first century festive meal to celebrate holy communion in the context of a meal and symposium on Tuesday evenings, 6:30–8:00p.m., during the season of Lent. We’ll meet in Kinsolving Hall around tables, we’ll light candles, eat soup, drink wine or cider, read from scripture, talk and discuss meaningful topics, and celebrate our communion. Donations accepted for dinner. Please make plans to join us for these joyful and unique meals. This series will give all participants a deeper feeling and understanding for how our Christian practice of holy Eucharist was shaped by the Greco-Roman festive meal and how it transformed table fellowship forever. MASTERSON LIBRARY REQUESTS CHILDREN’S BOOKS:

We are asking parishioners to help us build a small collection. If parents (or grandparents) have books their children enjoyed but have outgrown, and you’d like to find them a new home, please bring them to church and leave them on the window ledge with a note stating they are donations. We think our current crop of All Saints’ youngsters will appreciate your contribution, and so will we! —All Saints’ volunteer librarians, Patti Woolery-Price and Anne Province.

EASTER EGG PREPARATION IS UNDERWAY
Only a limited supply of plastic eggs remain from last year, so please bring new eggs, stuffed with individually wrapped candy, toys, stickers.  (Please no loose jelly beans, or anything else!)
Eggs stuffed with age appropriate toys for under three year olds are very helpful.  Please label these bags to ease the sorting process.
Contributions may be left in the church reception area.
