Don't forget, you're invited to a fellowship meal starting at 11:30 AM. Both the fellowship meal and book club discussion will take place at the Mission Road Community of Christ church, 7842 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS.

Also, don't forget that the author Marjan Kamali will be presenting (online) on the topic "On Courage, Turmoil, and the Transformative Power of Love." The session is on  May 7, 2026 at 6 PM. You can register online  at https://jocolibrary.bibliocommons.com/v2/events/69de5f5b491b809c6f274be8

In addition to our May book, our complete Spring schedule includes:
  • "The Lion Women of Tehran" by Marjan Kamali on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 12:30 PM,  moderated by Arlene Leonard. Note that former Pastor David Chobar (and his friend Patricia) will be in attendance on that day for worship and the book club.

  • "Slaughterhouse-5" by Kurt Vonnegut on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 12:30 PM, moderated by Steve Gerson.
It's time to start thinking about books to discuss after the July meeting. We hope you will join us for the All Good Books group discussion in May!
