We have an open slot for the All Good Books Discussion on March 20, 2025 at 7 PM (Mission Road Church Library). Here are the books that received at least one vote and (in two cases) volunteer moderators):
  • Kingdom Quarterback: Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs, and How a Once Swingin' Cow Town Chased the Ultimate Comeback by Mark Dent, and Rustin Dodd   (David Lurie has volunteered to lead the discussion)
  • "I Who Never Known Men" by Jacqueline Harpman (April Ballantyne has volunteered to lead the discussion)
  • The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods (no volunteer yet)
Other books suggested at the last book club meeting include:
  • Sister of Mine by Laurie Petrou or Sister of Mine by Sabra Waldfogel [not sure which was suggested]
  • Nothing to See Here by Kevin Wilson
  • Kingdom Quarterback: Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs, and How a Once Swingin' Cow Town Chased the Ultimate Comeback by Mark Dent, and Rustin Dodd
  • The Leap Year Gene of Kit McKinley: A Novel by Shelley Wood
  • The Sweet Taste of Muscadines  by Pamela Terry
  • When We Were Widows by Annette Chaves-Marcias [Is the title and author correct? I can't find this book]
  • When Were Enemies by Emily Bleeker
I need some more feedback...or we can just decide at the February meeting.
