Just a Book Club Reminder!

The next meeting of the All Good Books group will be on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 12:30 PM. We'll discuss "The Forgotten Book Club" by Kate Story. The discussion will be moderated by Jane Landrum. 

Jane has provided a list of suggested questions for discussion and a compilation of the books mentioned in the book (see attached).  She also asks attendees to be ready to answer the question:

"What would your Desert Island Reads be, and why?"  Jane has asked this question one way or another in the past, but it would be nice to hear why people choose the books they choose.

Don't forget, you're invited to a fellowship meal starting at 11:30 AM. Both the fellowship meal and book club discussion will take place at the Mission Road Community of Christ church, 7842 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS.

In addition to our March book, our Spring schedule includes:

• “The Forgotten Book Club” by Kate Story, at 12:30 PM on Sunday, March 15, 2026, discussion moderated by Jane Landrum.
• "The Dust Bowl Orphans" by Suzette D. Harrison on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 12:30 PM, moderated by Arlene Leonard.
• "The Lion Women of Tehran" by Marjan Kamali on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 12:30 PM,  moderated by Arlene Leonard. Note that former Pastor David Chobar (and his friend Patricia) will be in attendance on that day for worship and the book club.
• "The  Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell" by Robert Dugoni on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at 12:30 PM, moderated by Marilyn Gairns.
• "Slaughterhouse-5" by Kurt Vonnegut on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 12:30 PM, moderated by Steve Gerson.
