  Dear Team
Attached is the drafted proposal/ MOM to be sent to GNK in red. Kindly consider it and give your feedback. Would send this GNK by tomorrow 4:30 pm sharp.  I am still working on it and would attach a timeline for our first drive with NGO.

Dear Sir,
Reference : Our discussion regarding IMT Enactus- Gram Niyojan Kendra (GNK) partnership  on Saturday 22nd Feb 2013 at GNK office Ghaziabad, UP.

Introduction  : IMT -Enactus Team is carrying out Waste Paper Management Project ( Wings of Hope) at institute campus to make IMT a waste paper free campus. The project has  till now been carried with the involvement of IMT Enactus members and NGO support( on ad hoc basis). The benefits received form the project is also passed on to the target people in totality. Scaling the project  with an ultimate aim of skill building of the underprivileged sections of the society and making it self financed and sustainable the team wishes to involve GNK for along term strategic partnership .GNK with its more than 36 years of experience would provide its expertise in community service to involve the target group with greater focus and commitment. Along with this skill development can be passed on to a wider section under the supervision of  GNK . GNK would introduce a Selg Help Group(SHG)  of 10 women who would be associated with the project.

As per our discussion , I am writing down the excerpts of the meeting for your quick review.
The Waste paper Management would being carried out at three different involvement levels.

1:) Collection of newspaper from campus and handing over to Paper collection agency : The collection drive would be carried under the supervision of Enactus member with the support of GNK representative/volunteers. Team would  compensate  volunteers  accordingly as per standard rates if services used.

2:) The raw material for making notebooks/pads/ other items (as in case may be)  would be provided by IMT Enactus team to the GNK SHG team

3:) The SHG team would ensure to make the products from raw materials as per expected quality within pre decided time frame. A compensation for this assignment would be decided as per the mutual agreement. The infrastructure viz punching machine etc would be provided to the SHG . An orientation camp to impart the basic notebook making skills  would be held for SHG by the team.

The consumption of the products would be ensured of IMT Enactus members. The team envisage to run this process multiple time in a year with minimum 2 months gap or even less. The profits from the process would also be shared with the NGO and SHG .

IMT Enactus team proposes to scale up this project to new institutes and would always seek contribution for sustainability above all.  Rather sustainability would be the essence of the whole project.

As per discussion , Madam Asha Gulati (GNK ) has been proposed our POC for this project . We seek her kind guidance and cooperation to our noble cause. We entrust her to maintain the sanctity of the association and the dignity of both the Institutions involved and  we pledge to do the same.
