Dear Enactus Team,
Enactus India is pleased to announce "Enactus Unilever Special Competition 2013 - 2014”
Last date to apply to participate for the Enactus Unilever Special Competition is Monday,
April 21, before 06.00 pm IST.
Scope of Competition:
- 10 teams will be selected to participate in the Enactus Unilever Special Competition.
- Selected 10 teams in India will be rewarded to create new projects and/ or scale/ modify existing projects in a way that creates holistic solutions to improving people’s livelihoods.
- Each team will receive ₹ 20,000 to complete their project – ₹ 10,000 when selected and ₹ 10,000 when a complete Final Impact Report is submitted.
- Selected teams will receive intimation and will have to update the impact of their projects.
Prize:
- All selected teams will receive a Team Certificate from Enactus India.
- Winning team can nominate a student as “Unilever Ambassador” and a Faculty Advisor, who will be sponsored by Enactus India to participate at Enactus 2014 World Cup in Beijing, China.
- If the Winning team is also selected as the National Champion, then Enactus India reserves the right for any further decision.
Winner Team will be announced on-stage at the 2014 Enactus India National Competition.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Only Enactus Teams can apply.
- Teams will need to work towards positively impacting one of the 4 Unilever Sustainability Living Plan (USLP) criteria.
- Project Beneficiaries should belong to the same country; cross country projects will not be eligible.
Evaluation Criteria:
- Level at which solutions incorporated by the teams focus on long-term empowerment on one of the below mentioned issues:
- Brought safe drinking water to # people
- # pounds/kilograms of waste were reduced due to reusing or recycling waste products
- Introduced better livelihoods to # farmers through more efficient farming practices
- Helped # small-scale distributors enhance their business by troubleshooting and making suggestions to improve their business model/practices
- Achieved definite quantitative and qualitative results.
- Media exposure (teams are required to recognize Enactus and USLP by name in all activities pertaining to media outreach) #enactusindia #enactusindiaunileverspecialcompetition
Terms and Conditions:
- Teams can apply for only one Enactus project.
- Selected teams will have to participate in the National Competition.
