In the first three months of the state program of subsidizing car loans, banks issued almost one hundred thousand loans to buy a new car.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, as of September 29, 99 078 preferential car loans were issued, of which about 45 thousand were issued in September. About 30% of sales under the preferential car loan program are Lada cars.
In general, the share of Russian cars sold under the program is more than 80%. In addition, the share of light commercial vehicles in total sales of preferential car loans is about 5%, while about 95% of them are domestic brands, Autostat reports.
