MioMoov won't start

Problem:

You were experimenting with your Mio device and managed to modify your PATHS.XML file and now you cannot connect to you device via USB!?

Solution:

Disconnect your device from any power source, turn it on and leave it until battery drains out... When battery finally drains out (no image on your screen), connect your computer and navigation device using USB cable and computer should recognize it as disk drive. If computer does not recognize it that way, repeat whole procedure until succeed.

When you manage to connect to device, open you PATHS.XML file and replace your modified text with original one (text below is for MioMoov 330, I didn't tested other devices):

<paths>
  <filegroup> 
    <name>appstartupsec</name>
    <basepath>\Program Files\MioMap</basepath> 
    <files>
      <file>AppStartupSec.exe</file>
    </files>
  </filegroup> 
</paths>

After that, save this file and restart the device.
