Thought this was an interesting article about the rate at which
unmanned reconnaissance sorties have increased in just the last 2
years (exponentially) and how they are basically seeking image
understanding technologies to interpret the glut of data.

It'll be neat to see how the image and signal understanding community
responds to their requests to deal with the data stream from the new
"gorgon stare" drone with its wide angle stitched high resolution
imaging system from multiple cameras.
