It is not required to explicitly close the driver on a web page. Web browser should gracefully close all openWebSockets when the page is unloaded. However, driver instance should be explicitly closed when it's lifetimeis not the same as the lifetime of the web page:

To connect to Neptune using Neo4j's Bolt drivers, simply replace the URL and Port number with your cluster endpoints using the bolt URI scheme. If you have a single Neptune instance running, use the read_write endpoint. If multiple instances are running, then two drivers are recommended, one for the writer and another for all the read replicas. If you have only the default two endpoints, a read_write and a read_only driver are sufficient, but if you have custom endpoints as well, consider creating a driver instance for each one.
The Neo4j Bolt drivers for Python, .NET, JavaScript, and Golang did not initially support the automatic renewal of AWS Signature v4 authentication tokens. This means that after the signature expired (often in 5 minutes), the driver failed to authenticate, and subsequent requests failed. The Python, .NET, JavaScript, and Go examples below were all affected by this issue.
The Java code below shows how to make openCypher queries in Java using Bolt with IAM authentication. The JavaDoc comment describes its usage. Once a driver instance is available, you can use it to make multiple authenticated requests.
I'm using neo4j:latest docker environment, when I visit neo4j browser I find that neo4j is set default to connect with neo4j protocol like 'neo4j://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:7687'.
When I use a javascript driver to interact with neo4j through neo4j protocol, I find that the change made by js driver is not visiable to neo4j browser.
Then I change protocol used by the browser and js driver to bolt protocol like 'bolt://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:7687', everything works find.
I notice that when I use neo4j protocol and bolt protocol to connect, it seems that I'm using two different database.
Then I do some experiment:
neo4j:// will work on either a single instance or a cluster. If used on a cluster, it's the equivalent of the bolt+routing:// protocol from Neo4j 3.5.x and earlier, it will route to a cluster member, not necessarily the system at the IP that you specified. Queries executed over that protocol will route according to the transaction functions you're using in your driver...if using a write transaction, they will go to the leader. If using a read transaction, they will route between followers and/or read replicas.
bolt:// will connect only to the server with the IP you specify. It will not route anywhere else. All queries over this protocol will go only to this machine, whether they're read or write queries (and of course write queries will error out if not being sent to the cluster leader).

Users whose main use for their graphics card is gaming and other general home-use graphical hardware acceleration should use the open source AMDGPU drivers, since the performance of the open source drivers can be as much 100% more compared to AMDGPU-Pro. On second thought, which bolt broke? The caliper mount bolts face inward from the wheel and are the most likely to vibrate loose and the caliper slide bolts are threaded at the shoulder/base and also face inward. The caliper itself would drag the inner edge of the wheel and damage it if one of the caliper bolts fell out or if one bracket bolt fell out and the other was loose on many Asian imports I am familiar with. Is there a bolt broken off in the caliper or bracket @AL-curd?
