October 28 is Intergalactic Space Rock Day....

October 28 is Doug Walker's birthday, and as you perhaps recall, I was suggesting that we unilaterally name it "Intergalactic Space Rock Day"...

It turns out that it's a Thursday this year... so why don't we try to have a little show here in New York City for it?  I can certainly find some "hip" place to play, probably somewhat in Brooklyn like Williamsburg, Bushwick or Gowanus (the up-and-coming underground areas) - and I can provide some of the entertainment.

The idea thing would be to have some sort of Alien Planetscapes reunion (i.e. some ex-AP people, some "friends" and perhaps some new people...) as the nominal headliner (going on last) but have someone with a decent, local draw (which probably isn't me unless my musical career takes off more in the next six months!) going on just before them.

Again, this is just a poke to get you used to the idea.  Let me know!
