Dear Community Leader,
My team is partnering with the Houston Parks and Recreation Department and Scenic Houston to host a virtual town hall on the Adopt-an-Esplanade program. The town hall will be held via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday, March 17, at 10 am. I would love for you to join
us and help spread the word — the flyer is attached.
This event will provide an overview of how to adopt an esplanade, highlight the benefits of participating in the program, and offer a venue for attendees to ask questions and share comments. To register for the event, please click the QR code provided in the
flyer or the registration link below.
The City of Houston maintains 1,550 acres of esplanades, including 7,000 islands ranging from 0.1 to 4.3 acres. Through community partnerships and adoptions, approximately $3 million is saved annually. The Adopt-an-Esplanade program is a meaningful opportunity
to collaborate in enhancing the beauty of our city.
Let’s keep our city green with love, not luck!
