WHAT: Houston City Council Member Willie Davis is holding the second in a planned series of city-wide town hall meetings for 2024. This is part of his mission to bring city hall to Houston residents in their community, as it is difficult for many to travel downtown in the middle of the day to ask questions and voice their concerns at City Council's public session.

WHERE: Alief Neighborhood Center (Senior Room, located next to the front desk) - 11903 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX 77072
ADDITIONAL INFO: Mayor Whitmire has confirmed he will attend. City officials from over 10 departments and offices will be in attendance to help answer questions from residents. FEMA Region 6 will present the most up-to-date recovery resources available to Hurricane Beryl victims and answer questions from residents. Council Member Davis will also introduce new HPD Westside Commander Mario Clinton to the community. Food and drink (with vegetarian options) will be provided courtesy of two local small businesses, Kimberly Advertising and Mister Nguyen Agency.
