New "Agents of Discovery" Mission at Arthur Storey Park!
Houston Parks Board is thrilled to be launching a two-month virtual Agents of Discovery mission at Arthur Storey Park at 7400 W Sam Houston Pkwy S., Houston, 77036.

Agents of Discovery is an augmented reality mobile game to play and discover the world around you. It’s a great activity for all ages, especially grades 3-6. This mission showcases the amenities of the new 7.67-mile segment of Brays Bayou Greenway. Connecting Braeburn Glen Boulevard and Eldridge Parkway, more than 47 miles of Brays Bayou Greenway will be available for public use once construction is complete, making Brays the longest Bayou Greenway built to date.
Let’s get exploring! Download the FREE Agents of Discovery app on your smart device. Then, visit Brays Bayou Greenway at Arthur Storey Park and select "Arthur Storey Park Mission." Follow the app’s clues to unlock challenges throughout the park. During the mission you’ll walk the nature trail and explore the tai chi court while discovering where the future trail is being built and how it will connect you to other regional parks! Once you complete the mission, you can fill out the link to receive your limited-edition HPB swag.
More information about getting there can be found on the Houston Parks Board website. The mission will be available during daylight hours Friday, July 8 until Friday, September 9.

New Segment of Brays Bayou Greenway under Construction

The new greenway segment begins on the north side of Brays Bayou at Braeburn Glen Park before crossing a new 12-foot-wide hike-and-bike bridge parallel to Highway 59. The greenway will then cross under Highway 59 and continue along the bayou’s south side to Beltway 8. After passing under Beltway 8, the greenway will link into the existing trail network in Harris County Precinct 3’s Art Storey Park.

From Art Storey Park, the greenway will connect into an existing Westchase Management District trail and continue on the bayou’s north side to Mike Driscoll Park. The greenway will then traverse the south side of the bayou until reaching existing trail network within Archbishop Fiorenza Park at Eldridge Parkway. Check out the map: Brays Bayou Greenway.

Construction is expected to conclude in fall 2023. Residents should be mindful of the active construction sites along Brays Bayou and non enter areas surrounded by orange construction fencing.
