Join Houston Parks Board (HPB) on Tuesday, February 24 for the Community Listening Session about the Kirkwood Greenspace, immediately following the Alief Super Neighborhood Council (ASNC) meeting. The ASNC meeting will start at 6:30 PM and the Let's Play Houston presentation will begin at 7:30 PM. The session will be held at the Alief Neighborhood Center, 11903 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX 77072.
Kirkwood Greenspace is a part of the Let's Play Houston initiative, a collaborative led by City of Houston Mayor John Whitmire, Houston Parks Board, and Houston Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with companies, foundations, and private donors, to revitalize 25 neighborhood parks. The park is managed and maintained by Harris County Precinct 4.
The meeting will feature:
- Presentation on Let's Play Houston led by HPB
- Opportunity to complete the community survey
- Gift card giveaway
