The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a four-year program of funded transportation projects in Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, and Waller counties. The TIP is developed every two years by the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) Metropolitan Planning Organization, in consultation with regional transportation partners, to advance projects from the long-range Regional Transportation Plan to implementation.
The TIP includes highway, transit, bicycle, and pedestrian projects scheduled for design or construction during fiscal years 2027 through 2030. |

WHY IS THIS MEETING IMPORTANT? In addition to providing information about planned transportation projects, the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) must balance proposed projects with anticipated available funding. This public meeting is an opportunity for residents and stakeholders to review the projects identified for implementation between 2027 and 2030 and provide feedback. |

HOW TO SUBMIT A PUBLIC COMMENT We invite the public to comment on the Draft 2027–2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). Comments may be general or related to specific projects, and suggestions for improvement are welcome.
