Good afternoon everyone, 

H-GAC is happy to announce that the 2026 Basin Highlights Report: Characterization of the Brays Bayou and Sims Bayou Watersheds, has been released. For those unaware, each year the Clean Rivers Program (CRP) creates these reports outlining the trends and status of water quality within specified watersheds, while also providing an overview of related activities, projects and efforts. These reports are also designed to supplement the efforts of watershed-based plans, and since a watershed protection plan is currently in development for Brays Bayou and Sims Bayou, it was decided that this year's report will characterize the two watersheds. 

Many thanks to everyone involved, including the CRP Basin Steering Committee and regional monitoring partners. Please feel free to share the report especially with residents who live, work, and recreate in the Brays Bayou and Sims Bayou watersheds.
