In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), H-GAC will provide for reasonable accommodations for persons attending H-GAC functions. The Houston-Galveston Area Council’s Transportation Policy Council provides policy guidance for the metropolitan planning organization and overall coordination of the transportation planning activities within the region. The council consists of 28 members from cities and counties representing urbanized areas with a population of more than 50,000 people, the Texas Department of Transportation, the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, one at-large member appointed by the Houston-Galveston Area Council Board of Directors, and one member representing the Gulf Coast Rail District.
