There are several projects and developments moving forward in our beloved community, and I want to provide a high-level update in case you’ve passed by and wondered what’s going on.
Much of this information will also be included in the upcoming newsletter.
We celebrated the
Dashwood Trails Groundbreaking last Thursday—this project will bring 118 new units for seniors, helping ensure stable and affordable housing for our aging residents.
A community tour and ribbon cutting are expected in 2026, and I will gladly share leasing information once available.
Along Bellaire, you will see construction activity tied to several major projects:
The ExxonMobil gas station across from Rodeo Square (The Mint) Apartments and the convenience store property behind the apartments have BOTH been acquired and are under construction for mixed commercial use. (Sketch attached.)
Further west on Bellaire at Greenway Chase—where the old used car lot sat for decades—the property has been acquired and is now under development. The adjacent parcel also has a proposed project under review. (Photos attached.)
Several smaller subdivisions surround this area Wildflower Green, Braewood Townhomes and Crown Colony West. I am in direct communication with the development teams to ensure residents are not negatively impacted by noise, cut-through traffic, or public safety concerns.
Exciting times. More to come.
Have a great week.
