Friends:

We made it through the extreme weather for the most part. We are BLESSED to have shelter, heat, food and power.

I want to provide a quick summary of what's been going on over the last 3 days.

My office, alongside our partners opened 2 locations for warming centers: Agape Christian Fellowship and Church Without Walls At Eldridge.

District F did NOT have a COH operated warming center.

Day 1

We served 160 meals at 14 sites.

Day 2

152 at 17 sites

Day 3 in progress

What is important to highlight is we have a larger number of homeless individuals and encampments that previously documented.

Canvassing the area prior to distribution alerted us to locations unknown.

My office is working on a formal response, but we are in need of wool socks, feminine hygiene products, hoodies, beanie caps, men tennis shoes.
